Cool Device for the price : Pyrus Electronics 4GB MP4/MP5 Player with 4.3 Inch High Resolution Touch Screen - Video, Music, Photo Viewer, PDF Viewer and Much More - 2011 Model
My son loves this birthday gift. That is all that matters. He asked for an iPod touch but we obviously won't spent 200 dollars on a toy for 11 years old. We also don't want to allow him to have access to the internet without supervision. This little player serves the purpose perfectly. Music, youtube video (of our choice) and some ebooks in text file work greatly on this device. PDF is a little bit small and difficult to read. You need to enlarge the font before loading on the player. Picture works fine too although you need to make them smaller before putting on it, otherwise, it will be really slow in playback.
The device looks and feels very solid. He has dropped a couple of times on the floor and it survived so far. (another reason he cannot get an iPod touch yet).
Overall, I think this is a good product and will recommend.
